The Chinese Redbud is a small, deciduous tree native to Eastern Asia. The tree is widely popular for its impressive masses of bright purplish pink flowers.
The flowers appear in early spring before the leaves. The flowers are not the only colourful part of the tree, as the leaves turn various shades of gorgeous yellow and orange before falling in autumn.

I planted in a well drained sunny spot. Probably should have done some cold stratification and left it in the fridge for ten-twenty days before scattering and dusting in a shallow dip with well saturated soil. I’ve put It in gravel covered with a bit of soil and the seeds covered. It seems to be ok so far. I will let you know more in twenty years when fully grown
