The Chinese Elm is a climate-tolerant native of Taiwan, China, and Korea. In nature, these trees can reach a height of 60-70 feet and may live over 100 years. These seeds produce hardy trees with plenty of offshoots.
The leaves of the Elm are small, a desirable trait for shaping purposes. There are several forms of Chinese Elm with smooth bark and others that rapidly develop thick bark. The tree produces small, leathery, glossy green leaves which last well into winter and, in mild areas, may persist until new growth appears in early spring.

I ordered three different types of seeds from this seller and they arrived in good time and condition. I haven’t planted the seeds yet since the weather is still chilly but hopefully the germination will be successful when I plant them- there are very detailed instructions on the online guide so I think there is a good chance that they will. Customer service was very helpful and answered questions I had, and there is a great bonsai community on instagram and other platforms. I will update if/when the seeds start to sprout.
Great service and a helpful guide to download to help with the planting and growing.. fingers crossed ????
Very happy with the product and the service, would recommend!
